Solution to fix QuickBooks error 15271
Turning off User Account Control (UAC) in your computer: Solution 1
For Windows 7, 8 and 10:
- First, you go to the control room.
- You go to choose are using Windows 7, then start and then Control Panel.
- In case you are using Windows 8 or 10, you can type Control Panel in the Start menu and then click Control Panel.
- Type UAC in the search box.
- “Change click the user account settings”.
- In order to never turn off the UAC, move the slider in to notify.
- Now click OK. Enter the password or provide confirmation if an administrator password or confirmation is required. Perform a restart of your computer to make changes.
- Move the slider to when you want to receive notification when you turn on UAC and right click.
Solution 2: Update QuickBooks service
Click on help.
Update to QuickBooks – Choose Update → Get Updates to reset QuickBooks → Update Update Now → box marked next.
When close and reopen the “update complete” message appears on your screen.
Click Install now on receive a message to install the update.
Restart your computer.
Solution 3: Perform a clean installation of QB under selective startup mode
Press run applications “to open” key R icon windows.
Type “” msconfig → ok.
Click on the selected startup under the General tab in the main menu bar and after selecting Load System Services.
Go to Hide Services → All Microsoft Services → All Disabled tab → Uncheck Hide All Microsoft Services.
To ensure that the verification of the checked service list is marked as Windows Installer.
If not, check the mark and click OK.
Restart the system configuration.
