Methods to resolve QuickBooks error code 832
1) Update QuickBooks to latest version

Just follow these basic steps to update QuickBooks to latest version
- Go to “Help” menu
- Now tap on “update QuickBooks” option
- Now click on the “Update now” tab
- Now select the “Reset Update” box from which you can destroy all the previous downloads
- Now choose “Get Updates” option, then click on “Restart Now”
Now check whether the problem is solved or not
2)Rename “.ND” and “.TLG” file

- Open Companies Files Folder
- Find the “.ND” and then “Right” click on “.ND”
- Now rename the “.ND” file to “.ND old”
- Similarly, with the “.TLG” file and rename it “.TLG old”
- Now open QuickBooks
3) Locally opening the Company file

- Open the folder with company files
- Now locate the file with Extension .QBW
- Now right click the file, copy it and paste it on desktop
- Hold the Ctrl key and open QuickBooks, you’ll be directed to “No company” window
- Click on option that says “Restore” or “Open” the existing company file
- Finally try to open the copied file on the desktop.
4) Restore Backup
- Open company file then files then utilities
- Select the option “Stop hosting multi user access”
- Choose YES whenever the message appears on the screen that company files must be closed
- Select the respected company file
- Now fill the address on the top and choose “Restore the File”

5) Turn off Hosting
If you are using “Multi Use” mode –
- Select the “No Company Open” option
- Now choose “Company” file and after that click on the “Utilities” option.
- If there is the “Host Multi-User Access” option, then it means it is a proper indication that hosting is performing with multiple users.
- Now click on the “Stop Hosting Multi-User Access” option.
If you are a “Single Use” mode user then:
- Select the file and then hit the “Utility” option
- Then choose the “Stop Hosting Multiple-User” option.
- Click “Yes”, when the message window appears on the screen
- Follow these steps, whenever the “Company file must be closed” showing message window on the window screen and then again click on “Yes”.
